Our lovely President – Michael D Higgins officially began his State visit to the U.K. yesterday, He made it as far as Windsor castle but I was rather disheartened to hear in his busy schedule he didn’t quite reach Legoland Windsor. No matter. I’ll bring the story thus far to you in lego form!

Some entertainment sites picked up on these after I posted them and they wrote some lovely words about my creations, here’s The Daily Edge piece, and the Joe.ie article here.

These photos also featured on Cork Independent News, Yahoo NewsBreakingNews.ie, @IrelandMedia HQ, 98fm,  Aldi Ireland.

Ian Dempsey also gave them a mention on his Breakfast show on Today FM  - Have a listen here at about @ 54 mins in!

The sun was high in the sky in Malahide yesterday as the Baby Max Fund Charity Lunch & Belle Boutique Fashion Show got under way in the beautiful setting of the Gourmet Food Parlour.

MC for the day was the beautiful Lisa Fitzpatrick, Make up by Karen Bowers – At Home Pampering and Accessories by Harpur De Neve and Belle Boutique.

I was delighted to be asked to be the official photographer for the event, there are just a couple of photos below, you can view the full set of images over here. Thanks to Hickey’s Pharmacy & Photo Centre I am also offering prints of the event with all proceeds going to the Baby Max Fund. If you would like a print of any of these images please get in contact.

Baby Max Wings of Love Fund was founded by Darina Ní Chuinneagáin & Declan Donnelly following the tragic death of their son Max, 10 years ago to Meningitis B & Meningococcal Septicaemia. The first goal of the fund was to purchase a badly needed ‘haemofiltration machine’ for Temple Street Children’s Hospital that they did not have at the time and had to borrow from another hospital. They were delighted to accomplish this through hard work, dedication and the support of many people. To read more about the wonderful work that Darina and her husband Declan do please head over to babymax.ie
