The London Film and Comic Con is a convention held annually in London that focuses on films, cult television and comics. In the past, the convention had guests that had included actors and actresses from programmes including Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Heroes and other films and television programmes.

This year it was held in Earls Court 2 in London, and it played host to numerous ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Back to the Future’ stars.

What two great weekends I’ve had! I could get used to dressing up as Wally every Sunday, I don’t know what I’ll do next week

Cork smashed the US record last Sunday 12th June when 2,563 Men, Women, Boys, Girls and even dogs dressed as Where’s Wally / Where’s Waldo in Fitzgerald’s Park! On Saturday 18th, Dublin broke that record by having 3657 wally’s present at Merrion Square. Yesterday, Sunday 19th, Dublin broke their own record with 3852 Wally’s in attendance for the worlds biggest real life Where’s Wally photograph!

The weekend was a wonderful colourful affair with great acts from the Street Performance World Championship crew!

A special shoutout to The Space Cowboy who was this years winner of SPWC 2011!

Fitzgerald Park was the place to be this weekend. There were magical performances from the Street Performance World Champions. For a few brief moments, the downpour stopped, the blue skies and sun came out to welcome the Cork folk who broke the Guinness World Records previous record for the most people dressed as Where’s Wally?/Where’s Waldo? in one place at one time. There were 2,563 wallly’s spotted in Fitzgerald Park on Sunday!

If you didn’t make it to Cork or Portlaoise for the Wally record attempt you can try your hand at it in Dublin this weekend, 18th & 19th of June at 6pm both days in Merrion Square

The set theatre was the venue for this years FMC tour in Kilkenny on June 10th. The bands that played on the night included, Owensie, The Heathers, O Emperor and Adebisi Shank. A great live show was put on by all, well done to everyone involved!
