Revive Music Festival 2011

The Revive Music Festival 2011, an all day outdoor music festival will take place in Thurles Racecourse, Nenagh Road, Thurles, Co Tipperary on Saturday 6th August starting at 12pm.

The lineup includes the cream of both up and coming and established Irish acts such as Fred, Mundy, Ryan Sheridan, The Flaws, Whipping Boy, O Emperor, Jester, Bipolar Empire, Royseven. Tickets are priced at €30.65 and are available from Ticketmaster.ie and all ticket master outlets nationwide including Heartbeat City, Thurles.

Along with the great music acts there will be Full bar and food facilities available on site.

London Film & Comic Con 2011

The London Film and Comic Con is a convention held annually in London that focuses on films, cult television and comics. In the past, the convention had guests that had included actors and actresses from programmes including Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Heroes and other films and television programmes.

This year it was held in Earls Court 2 in London, and it played host to numerous ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Back to the Future’ stars.

Where’s Wally? – Dublin 2011!

What two great weekends I’ve had! I could get used to dressing up as Wally every Sunday, I don’t know what I’ll do next week

Cork smashed the US record last Sunday 12th June when 2,563 Men, Women, Boys, Girls and even dogs dressed as Where’s Wally / Where’s Waldo in Fitzgerald’s Park! On Saturday 18th, Dublin broke that record by having 3657 wally’s present at Merrion Square. Yesterday, Sunday 19th, Dublin broke their own record with 3852 Wally’s in attendance for the worlds biggest real life Where’s Wally photograph!

The weekend was a wonderful colourful affair with great acts from the Street Performance World Championship crew!

A special shoutout to The Space Cowboy who was this years winner of SPWC 2011!

I look forward to next years event already!

Where’s Wally? – Cork 2011!

Fitzgerald Park was the place to be this weekend. There were magical performances from the Street Performance World Champions. For a few brief moments, the downpour stopped, the blue skies and sun came out to welcome the Cork folk who broke the Guinness World Records previous record for the most people dressed as Where’s Wally?/Where’s Waldo? in one place at one time. There were 2,563 wallly’s spotted in Fitzgerald Park on Sunday!

I thoroughly enjoyed being a Wally for the day! I’ve posted a few photos below, you can view more photos from the day on my Studio Ten Photography page here.

If you didn’t make it to Cork or Portlaoise for the Wally record attempt you can try your hand at it in Dublin this weekend, 18th & 19th of June at 6pm both days in Merrion Square

FMC Tour 2011

The set theatre was the venue for this years FMC tour in Kilkenny on June 10th. The bands that played on the night included, Owensie, The Heathers, O Emperor and Adebisi Shank. A great live show was put on by all, well done to everyone involved!
